I am house/dog sitting this week... and I've now been here roughly 30 hours :D It's been quite an adventure already! A lovely adventure, but an adventure! I'm dog sitting a beagle named Lucy, and she's an absolute doll! I started this blog so that Lucy's parents can read all about our adventures when they get home from their vacation :) So let's go in order, shall we?
Friday:: I got home from work to see a very excited Lucy. She was very ready to be let out of her kennel and love me :) We both ate dinner and then sat down for some serious Netflix time together :D
She seemed to greatly enjoy cuddling next to me while I watched Merlin :D We went to bed quite early, as I was exhausted from a crazy work week, but Lucy cuddled up next to me in bed, and we were both asleep by 9:15.
Saturday morning:: Lucy scared the crap out of me by refusing to eat... so after a call to her people and some medication and a LOT of begging her to eat, I could do nothing but wait. So I sat there reading Harry Potter hoping she would eventually eat... finally, around 11:00 she got up and decided to eat... *phew*. So this afternoon, convinced Lucy was feeling better, I took Lucy on a trip to my apartment to pick up some things I had forgotten. She is MUCH better about car rides than Turbo (my parents' dog)! She spent most of the ride sleeping, and the other part patiently looking out the window!
Then we came back and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon. Lucy slept some more, I read some more Harry Potter, and we enjoyed some food network programming. Then we both ate dinner, and now we are once again enjoying Merlin on Netflix :D I did make some popcorn, and Lucy was very interested, as you can see :)
So happy Saturday night from Lucy and me :)
